08.02.15 Seattle Vintage Ferry Wedding

Kevin and Rachel are both writers (see some of their work here, and here.) I cannot express how open transparent these two are. They are deep thinkers with rich imaginations.
I met them just a few days before their wedding, and knew their wedding would be perfect regardless of any outside factors. They are so focussed on the true intention of marriage. I think the boat could have sunk and these two would have had their nuptials on the dock and been just as happy. They request no posed photos, as they preferred their day be documented, but we did convince Rachel to let us get a few shots of that stunning vintage dress she found in an antique shop! It was simply beautiful on her!
They invited all their friends and family to the MV Skansonia, a restored vintage Seattle ferry turned to an event venue, on Lake Union (fitting! For another Lake Union wedding check this out!). I have photographed several weddings here at the Skansonia in Seattle, it is fabulous! Excellent catering and service as well.
