I had not met Ben until the day of the engagement session, but I’ve know Patti for several years – she’s my favorite cousin!  Love this girl!  I didn’t even have to meet Ben to know he HAD to be an outstanding gentleman with the ability to laugh through life’s quirkiness.  Sure enough, he fits the mold.  Two peas in a pod, these two.  Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how important it is to choose to enjoy in even the daily small things; it fosters a  joyful attitude.   As long as I’ve known Patti, that’s who she has always been.  She can be content and grinning ear to ear with a book in the sun, or working with the children as an oncology nurse.  I cannot wait to get to know Ben more as my new relative!

Patti’s engagement ring belonged to Ben’s Grandmother.  Gorgeous antique!
